How it plays

From one village to a realm

Everything runs in real time, also while you are away: fields keep producing, builders keep building and troops keep marching. Every picture here is the game itself.

  1. The tribe selection screen with the Roman, Nord and Egyptian cards1

    Choose your tribe

Romans, Nords or Egyptians. Each has eight units of its own, its own wall and its own strengths.

  2. The resource fields around the village with the builder panel2

    Grow your fields

18 fields of wood, clay, iron and crop. Two builders work through a queue and start each job as soon as you can afford it.

  3. The walled village centre with buildings and empty plots3

    Raise the village

Two dozen kinds of building, from the Main Building to walls and stables, in a village that lights up at dusk.

  4. The world map with cultist villages near the player's village4

    Explore the world

A painted map of forests, mountains and lakes. Cultist villages and camps surround every newcomer: scout them, then raid them.

  5. The combat reports panel listing raids, attacks and missions with their results5

    Fight, then read the spoils

Plan in the battle simulator, then send real troops. Every raid, attack and mission ends in a report of losses and loot.

  6. The Hospital upgrade panel: recoverable losses and healing speed6

    Grow a stronger army

Unlock troops in the War Academy, sharpen them in the War Forge, and let the Hospital bring the fallen back.

  7. An alliance outpost with a shopping district, post office and union hall7

    Join forces

Found an alliance, plan in its forum and chat, build outposts together and lay roads that speed everyone up.

  8. The Marketplace upgrade panel with merchants and costs8

    Expand

Celebrate for culture, train settlers and found new villages. Merchants trade on the marketplace and run your trade routes.
